About the Midlife Cyclists

A group of normal, confused, middle-aged men & women, from Manchester, UK rode from Munster to Berlin in July 2008 (approximately 710km) in order to raise awareness for the charity CLIMB - the UK's only dedicated organisation to provide information and support on all metabolic diseases to children, adults, families, carers and professionals.

None of us have any regular experience cycling any great distances. We had never cycled together before, never trained before & never really fixed a bike. In fact, some had only just got bikes!

The website is a central point for us to communicate with each other and share experiences, tips & advice. We will be leaving updates as to our progress, as a group and as individuals, so feel free to visit our site regularly.
